This year is the 16th consecutive year for the Decatur Fire Department's Jr. Fire Cadet Program. 22 Local 505 members are serving as instructors this year. The program familiarizes kids from 8 to 17 with discipline, fire fighting, health, safety, and community awareness, among many other activities. They also find some time for fun, and once a week trips to various sites.

E7 hose testing on 5/25. E7, 1st shift tested 5 inch hose at Station 1 with a little help from their friends. They were actually done testing and reloading when I started taking pictures. E6 pics below.
